The United States has called Saturday’s attack in China’s southwest city of Kunming "an act of terrorism" targeting the public at random. state department spokeswoman Jen Psaki told a press briefing that the US extends its condolences to the victims. She added the US opposes violence intentionally directed at innocent civilians regardless of the cause and opposes terrorism in all forms.
